Role: Trust & Safety Generalist
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 8/4/25-4/24/26
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)*
*The first month this role would be M-F, but after that they would want contractors working Sun - Thurs OR working Tues - Sat.
Location: 100% remote

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trust & Safety Generalist to join our remote team. This role involves enforcing marketplace policies across product listings, shops, and seller accounts to ensure fairness and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply marketplace policies and protocols to enforce compliance across listings, seller accounts, and entities
Conduct timely reviews of core enforcement workflows within defined service level agreements (SLAs)
Handle complex, high-priority administrative workflows such as shop-level reviews, bulk takedowns, quality assurance checks, and machine learning validation sets
Review and manage seller appeals within SLA timelines
Support sensitive external escalations and communicate status updates to leadership teams
Identify abuse trends and escalate findings to team leads or operations managers
Participate in quality assurance efforts and contribute to process improvements
Drive or support project deliverables related to enforcement operations and cross-functional initiatives
Consistently meet productivity and quality targets, maintaining high accuracy and efficiency in review decisions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of trust and safety protocols and marketplace policy enforcement
Proven ability to make accurate, high-volume decisions under tight deadlines
Experience handling complex cases and escalating issues appropriately
Excellent written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Comfortable working independently while adhering to team goals and KPIs
