About the Role: 


Remote (Poland based)


As a Senior Data Governance Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring that an organization's data assets are properly managed and used in accordance with policies, regulations, and best practices. You’ll collaborate closely with key stakeholders—including IT, legal, compliance, and business teams—to design and implement data governance strategies that align with the organization’s goals. 


This role also requires a solid understanding of Master Data Management, including the ability to define strategy, approach, and lead/support the build and integration of MDM solutions using supporting technologies. 


What you'll do:


  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the implementation of Data Governance and MDM best practices for our clients.
  • Design and promote effective Data Governance and MDM frameworks, policies, and operating models.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to integrate governance and master data 
    principles into enterprise data strategy.
  • Lead the definition and execution of MDM strategy, approach, and roadmaps tailored to client requirements.
  • Deploy and support data governance technologies (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alteryx Connect), and train Data Owners and Stewards on their roles and responsibilities.
  • Help clients understand and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR) through effective data governance.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to improve data quality, reduce duplication, and drive data value.
  • When not working directly with clients, contribute to the development of internal tools, training materials, and go-to-market offerings.


What You'll Need: 


  • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) – including strategy design, 
    governance alignment, solution build, and supporting technologies.
  • Proven experience implementing Data Governance, Data Quality and MDM Solutions (including: Collibra, Erwin DI, Ataccama)
  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks, and industry best 
    practices.
  • Ability to design and implement data governance models that align with business goals.
  • Understanding of data management legislation and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR).
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical 
    stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, especially with complex data sets.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and completeness.
  • Experience with data modelling and metadata management to support governance efforts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence and engage across all levels of the business.
