The Sr. Programmer Analyst provides software development and analysis services to the organization, including the development of new software applications, modifications to existing applications and or features, and break-fix. Additionally, the Sr. Programmer Analyst provides software application support to the end user community.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Provides the following system development functions - analysis and design, software development (including coding, testing, documentation, and implementation), and maintenance of both new and existing software applications. Responsible for successful on time delivery of assigned tasks.

Responsible for cross-testing and code reviews of other developer’s tasks/code changes.

Provide database management functions, and responsible for data integrity of all relevant databases. Provide "end-user" support as necessary. Communicate effectively with the end users to understand issues or to take new requests. Provide additional support functions in terms of monitoring critical application processes, schedule processes, and user processes. Respond to critical alerts in a timely manner.

May participate in on-call support functions as needed. Primary on-call required every third or 4th weekend. Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience), preferably in Computer Science.

· 10 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience)

· 10 years extensive PICK BASIC/MULTIVALUE development experience

· 2 years of working experience UNIX or AIX, with working knowledge of AIX/UNIX basic commands

· 5 years of experience in design, development and support of Universe/Pick/Multi-value applications

· 5 years of experience in database administration and support of Universe databases

· 5 years of project delivery and solutions design experience.

· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Visio, Word, etc.)
