Location: Remote (1–2 days per week) but must reside in Vancouver for occasional in person meetings
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to leadership and staff
Advise on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
Assist with policy development, compliance, and updates to the employee handbook
Oversee recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding processes
Collaborate with department heads to identify HR solutions and best practices
Maintain and update HR records and systems in addition to benefit management
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
Handle sensitive employee issues with professionalism and discretion
What You Bring:
5+ years of HR generalist experience (preferably in a mid-sized company)
Strong knowledge of BC employment law and HR best practices
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities remotely
Experience with HRIS systems and modern communication tools (Slack, Zoom, etc.)
HR certification CPHR is a plus
