Join Our Environmental Planning & Approvals Team – Perth

We’re looking for a Principal Environmental Assessment & Approvals Consultant to lead and deliver complex environmental approval strategies across WA and beyond. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of our high-performing team and guiding clients through ever-changing regulatory environments.
 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading environmental impact assessments and approvals for major projects

  • Developing strategy across EP Act, EPBC Act, and bilateral approvals

  • Managing stakeholder engagement and regulator liaison

  • Preparing and reviewing high-quality technical reports and submissions

  • Guiding clients through environmental constraints, risks and approvals pathways

  • Mentoring and developing junior staff

  • Contributing to strategic growth and project wins
     

What You’ll Need

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or similar discipline

  • 10+ years' experience in environmental impact assessment and approvals

  • Deep knowledge of WA and Commonwealth legislation (EP Act, EPBC Act, etc.)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence at a senior level

  • Desire to build a thriving team and shape strategy in a growing consultancy
