What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and delivering complex ecological assessments (flora, TECs, offsets, biodiversity impacts)

  • Designing and implementing targeted flora survey programs

  • Preparing technical reports, impact assessments, and offset strategies

  • Advising clients on regulatory pathways (EPBC, NCA, State Code 16, etc.)

  • Liaising with regulators, landholders, and internal teams

  • Mentoring junior ecologists and growing our technical capability in flora

  • Contributing to business development and project strategy

What You’ll Need

  • Degree in Ecology, Botany, Environmental Science, or related field

  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in consulting, with a strong flora focus

  • In-depth knowledge of Queensland and Commonwealth ecological legislation

  • Demonstrated experience leading field surveys and delivering quality reports

  • A genuine interest in mentoring and building team capability

  • Ability to drive project strategy and client relationships

  • Competitive salary + performance incentives

  • Direct access to Epic’s senior leadership and national ecology team

  • Unique opportunity to shape the future of Epic’s flora offering

  • Supportive, values-driven culture (no micromanagers, no politics)

  • Real ownership and influence over the work you do
