Job Description

Job Summary:

They’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized Website Admin / Coordinator to manage the day-to-day upkeep of their e-commerce platform. You’ll be responsible for keeping their website accurate, up to date, and aligned with their marketing campaigns. From uploading new products to checking homepage banners and coordinating with developers, your work ensures that every customer experiences a smooth, reliable, and beautiful online store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upload new products and ensure accuracy in images, descriptions, pricing, and categories.
  •  Organize product collections and bundles in line with launches or promotions.
  • Coordinate homepage and banner updates with the marketing team.
  • Check the site regularly to spot errors, broken links, or outdated content.
  • Test product pages, collections, and checkout after each update or campaign.
  • Assist with plugin updates and minor WooCommerce fixes (in coordination with the developer).
  • Support SEO basics by adding tags, meta titles, and alt text where required.
  • Monitor site speed and flag issues to developers.
  • Ensure the website backend is tidy, organized, and fully functional.
  • Prepare product spreadsheets when bulk uploads or edits are needed.

Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce website coordination (WooCommerce preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with product data and visuals.
  • Comfortable navigating WordPress/WooCommerce backend.
  • Basic understanding of product tagging, filtering, and online merchandising.
  • Familiar with image optimization, alt tags, and product metadata.
  • Able to test website flows across desktop and mobile.
  • Proactive and quick to fix errors when they arise.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills (to work with designers, marketers, and developers).
