Integration and Separation Specialists

KPMG’s Integration and Separation team collaborates with clients on the preservation and delivery of value at every stage of the transaction process.

Our people bridge the advisory relationship from pre-deal to post-deal execution. We are leaders in the identification and quantification of value in transactions, the design and mobilisation of integration programs, and managing the execution in post-completion periods.

Everyday our people deliver services and engagements, such as:

  • Synergy evaluation: the quantification of the potential cost savings and revenue enhancements.
  • Pre-completion planning: Transaction and integration program delivery and developing post-deal operating governance structures.
  • Day 1 readiness: Designing and implementing detailed Day 1 plan.
  • 100 Day Planning: Supporting a clients Integration Management Office on the delivery and evaluation of the operating model and additional value creation opportunities.
  • Separation planning: determining the true stand-alone costs for separation a business.

Your Opportunity 

Our Integration and Separation team in Melbourne & Sydney is growing. We are looking for professionals with experiences in integration, separation, or operational due diligence to play a key part in the team by:

  • Supporting the execution and implementation strategies, synergy identification, integration planning, carve out support and benefits realisation.
  • Project managing and commercial success of engagements. financial outcomes (revenue and profitability targets)
  • Contributing to the identification and development of new or ongoing client and project opportunities.

  • A quantitative and qualitative analytical skills relevant to a mid to senior M&A professional.
  • An ability to take initiative, deliver key projects and be comfortable in adapting a changing and rapidly growing business environment.
  • Strong all-round business understanding including the M&A environment.
  • The capability to maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct.
