As an Associate Test Engineer, you will be using the Cypress framework to automate repeatable test scenarios to add value across our new and existing innovative solutions in the GRC domain. 

You will be a part of a global team that is responsible for the continuous development of our solutions. The team is composed of product managers, user experience designers, and developers.

The primary objectives and responsibilities of an Associate Test Engineer includes: 

  • Ensure the quality and reliability of software products through both manual and automated testing.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and support high-quality software releases.
  • Design, implement, and maintain effective test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
    Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution in close cooperation with development teams.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date test documentation and report test outcomes effectively.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers in agile teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Automate repeatable test scenarios using the Cucumber TA framework.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the evolution of QA best practices.

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation.
  • Familiarity with any programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) through coursework or personal projects.
  • Exposure to software development or testing tools such as JIRA, Git, or Jenkins is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of software development life cycles, preferably Agile/Scrum.
  • Knowledge of testing concepts or ISTQB Foundation Level coursework/certification is a bonus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organised, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach and strong sense of ownership.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, the base salary range for this position is €1500-€1833 gross per month plus opportunities for bonuses or commission. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
