About the Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated IT Automation Specialist / Engineer to help streamline internal IT and business workflows through automation, smart tooling, and no-code/low-code platforms. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, has hands-on technical skills, and loves solving problems through creative automation.
You’ll be joining a small but mighty InfoSec & IT team, supporting internal operations across departments like HR, Finance, Legal, and Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain internal automation workflows using tools like Make, Notion, etc.
Develop and document automation blueprints to streamline onboarding, offboarding, device management, access provisioning, etc.
Troubleshoot and debug integrations, webhooks, and data sync issues
Collaborate with IT, HR, Ops, and Engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities
Support internal users and help troubleshoot Level 1–2 automation-related issues
Maintain documentation and SOPs for all automation processes
Contribute to our internal knowledge base and process improvement efforts
Requirements
1–3 years of hands-on experience in IT, operations, or automation engineering
Practical experience with Make (Integromat), Zapier, or similar platforms
Familiarity with Google Workspace administration, Notion, and basic scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or regex)
Clear communicator, able to document and explain workflows
Strong attention to detail, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks
Nice to Have
Experience automating business processes in SaaS startups
Background in InfoSec, Compliance, or IT Operations
Comfort working with APIs, webhooks, and JSON data structures
Familiarity with JIRA and HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Gusto)
Curiosity about agentic AI systems (e.g. AI agents, LLM-driven workflows, copilots) — direct experience not required, but interest and potential are highly valued
