Vice President, Biostatistics

Responsibilities

• Lead biostatistics efforts across clinical programs.
• Collaborate with CRO statisticians on design, protocol development, and statistical analysis plans for exploratory and pivotal drug studies.
• Manage statisticians on critical studies, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Align biostatistics strategy with cross-functional teams at company.
• Support interactions with research, clinical development, biomarker development, data science, regulatory affairs, and quality teams.
• Model and analyze data sets from clinical studies for decision-making.
• Support FDA submissions and attend FDA meetings, providing necessary biostatistics contributions.

Requirements

• PhD in biostatistics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in biostatistics for clinical development.
• Solid knowledge of statistical methods for clinical development.
• Extensive experience in R or SAS for practical application of statistical methods.
• Knowledge of the drug development process.
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in presenting scientific data to diverse audiences.
