Overview:

Sand Cherry is looking for an experienced Business/Operations Analyst. This role is responsible for the organization of documentation in a centralized database, supporting business planning and business analysis gathering and evaluating. You will work closely with a Field Operations project team to understand business requirements, gather data requests, compile and organize content and information. This role requires strong communication, highly analytical thinking, and very strong attention to detail. This role is remote but will require travel to Stamford, CT 20% of the time (roughly each month for a few consecutive days). Candidates on the Eastern Coast of the USA are strongly preferred.

  

Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with field operations teams, as well as other stakeholders, to understand their business requirements, content management and documentation needs 
  • Understand business requirements and perform business analysis and reporting
  • Design and manage centralized database for field operations documentation 
  • Ensure documentation database contains accurate, relevant, and easily accessible information 
  • Respond to requests for data and documentation in a timely manner across multiple teams
  • Analyze, review and interpret documents and related business artifacts for the field operations organization
  • Collaborate at a senior level with cross functional stakeholders related to the project and team
  • Use highly analytical and critical thinking skill sets to contribute to organization's goals
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are important

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst or similar Analyst capacity
  • Industry experience in Telecommunications, Cable, or internet services is required
  • Familiarity with telecommunications products including fiber internet, cloud services and managed services is strongly preferred 
  • Experience with business analysis, planning frameworks, documentation management, content management or knowledge management experience is desired
  • Highly analytical thinker- Ability to analyze data, identify gaps, and develop solutions  
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines 
  • Strong understanding in evaluating and reviewing processes, strategies, and best practices 
  • Experience working within, or supporting, a Field Operations organization is a plus
  • Must have strong experience working in Smartsheet and PowerPoint

 

Education / Certification 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Project Management, Marketing, or similar is required 
  • MBA is helpful

Compensation

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a consulting engagement, with an hourly range of $60-75/hr on 1099. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
