Job description

We are looking for someone who can support all of the major visa and immigration programs in Canada and the majority of visas in the US, striving to make the immigration process easier, faster, more accurate and lower cost. The client's platform is designed to take away the manual RCIC task and to make your role more rewarding. You will have a chance to shape the product and request features you need.

What you will do:

● Prepare and file Canadian and U.S. visa and immigration applications, including submission letter and application forms.

● Draft any reference or explanation letters, on behalf of clients as needed.

● Draft business plans as needed.

● Provide advice and assistance to clients regarding immigration matters, through email and messages.

● Follow up with the governments on submitted applications when necessary.

● Communicate timely with clients about their application status and results.

● Advise and assist on the resubmission of applications with applications returned or rejected.

● Provide application analysis, success stories content for marketing purposes.

● Assist with billing when instructed.

● Learn and use the client's platform.

● Other tasks related to visa and immigration as directed by management including research of latest policies.

Requirements

● 2+ years of experience in visa and immigration filing.

● Experience in filing International Mobility Program (IMP) applications.

● Experience in filing TRV, study permit, work permit and Express Entry applications.

● Experience in USCIS filing and state department filing.

● Experience using electronic Client File Management System (CFMS).

● Strong attention to detail. Mistakes can impact our reputation, operation and most importantly clients’ plans for their future.

● Ability to learn new programs quickly. We process a variety of applications including Global Talent Stream, Start-up Visa, C11 and many provincial nomination applications that you may not have experience with yet.

● Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal staff.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
