Our client, a real estate company based in Calgary, Canada, is hiring a Social Media & Multimedia Marketing Specialist to strengthen their brand’s digital presence. This remote role is ideal for a creative and results-driven professional with experience in content creation, digital design, video editing, and marketing research, especially within the real estate industry.
You must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and effectively collaborate within Canadian business hours (Mountain Time).
Key Responsibilities
1- Social Media Management
Develop and manage content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
Create posts with strategic captions, hashtags, and trending audio
Monitor engagement, respond to audience comments, and track analytics for growth
Run basic paid ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram
2- Graphic Design & UI/UX
Design high-quality visuals for property listings, brand promotions, and digital campaigns
Create user-friendly landing pages, email templates, and forms using Figma or Adobe XD
Ensure consistent and modern brand visuals across all channels
3- Video Content Production
Edit video tours, Reels, testimonials, and branded content
Apply branding elements, subtitles, transitions, and visual effects
Optimize content for mobile and desktop viewing
4- Marketing Research & Insights
Conduct research on social media trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences
Provide actionable insights to enhance digital marketing strategies
Track emerging trends in Canadian and North American real estate marketing
Recommend new tools, platforms, or strategies to increase brand visibility
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Digital Marketing, Multimedia, Marketing Research, or related field
Prior experience with realtors, real estate brands, or property developers
Familiarity with Western design aesthetics and Canadian housing market
Technical Skills
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, design, and marketing research
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva Pro
Meta Business Suite or equivalent tools
Skilled in short-form video editing for TikTok/Reels
(Bonus) Familiarity with Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or email marketing platforms
Soft Skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Highly creative, detail-oriented, and analytical
Self-starter with ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results
Ability to work remotely during Mountain Time hours

Benefits
Schedule: Full-time, aligned with Mountain Time (Canada)
Compensation: ₦200,000 – ₦300,000 NET monthly + Data Allowance
Location: Remote (Preferably reside in Lagos, Nigeria)
