Job description

Main Job Mission:

SAP Strategy: Develop and execute the overarching SAP strategy and roadmap for the EMEA region, aligning with organizational goals and market dynamics to ensure competitiveness and innovation. This includes setting long-term strategic objectives, identifying key growth areas, and ensuring the SAP practice remains competitive and innovative.

Program Oversight: Provide program oversight for multiple complex SAP initiatives (including S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, and cloud deployments), ensuring consistency in delivery methodologies and best practices. This involves coordinating various projects, ensuring they are aligned with the overall strategic vision, and addressing any challenges that arise.

Innovation Leadership: Drive the adoption of cutting-edge SAP technologies and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge and foster continuous improvement.

Executive Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with C-level and senior executive clients, acting as the primary point of escalation and ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction. Develop trust and rapport with key stakeholders, understand their business needs and ensure SAP solutions meet those needs.

Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on digital transformation projects and aligning executive business strategies with technical SAP roadmaps.

Client Portfolio Expansion: Identify new revenue opportunities to drive the EMEA SAP Practice, collaborating with sales teams to develop innovative service offerings and tailored solutions. Proactively seek new business opportunities, leveraging existing relationships and market knowledge to grow the client portfolio.

Oversight of Delivery Managers: Provide executive oversight to SAP Solution Architects, Delivery Managers, and project teams, ensuring engagements adhere to scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. Support delivery managers in overcoming obstacles and ensuring projects stay on track.

Innovation Roadmaps: Stay at the forefront of emerging SAP technologies—such as SAP BTP, analytics, and cloud platforms—incorporating them into delivery strategies to maintain competitive advantage. Encourage innovation and experimentation within the team, exploring new technologies and approaches. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive collaboration across business units, solution teams, technical streams, promoting knowledge sharing and best-practice adoption. Facilitate communication and cooperation between different teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to SAP solutions.

P&L Responsibility: Assume full P&L responsibility for the SAP practice, driving revenue growth, profitability, and cost optimization. Develop and manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.

Risk & Compliance Management: Oversee risk assessment, compliance standards, and security requirements across all projects, ensuring solutions meet legal, regulatory, and industry benchmarks.

Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Job Requirements

P&L Responsibility: Proven experience (7+ years preferred) with P&L responsibility, including budget development and financial forecasting, demonstrating track record of managing significant budgets and driving financial success within SAP practice.

Resource Allocation & Governance: Strong skills in resource allocation and governance to optimize utilization and ensure project success, with experience in managing large teams and complex project portfolios.

Operational Efficiency: A track record of driving operational efficiency improvements within SAP delivery, with quantifiable results in cost reduction and process optimization.

Financial Reporting: Experience in providing clear and concise financial reporting to senior management, including variance analysis and forecasting.

Advanced Cloud & Integration Expertise: Proficiency in SAP BTP, cloud platforms, and integration technologies, with the ability to set direction for complex architecture landscapes. Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and integration strategies.

Experience (5+ years preferred) in identifying new revenue opportunities and contributing to the development of Go-to-Market strategies for SAP solutions and services.

Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as strong industry relationships.

Extensive knowledge (10+ years preferred) of the SAP industry (SAP landscape/ecosystem) and market trends.

Knowledge and/or experience with SAP RISE, SAP Grow, and cloud migration.
