Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our Business Technology team. The team is responsible for driving business data analytics and ensuring robust data engineering practices. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.

This opportunity is with a leading company in the media and entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in pure Python development, non-relational databases, and working with data from diverse sources.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with pure Python programming for data engineering tasks.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
  
• Proficiency in data manipulation, transformation, and cleansing.
  
• Solid understanding of non-relational data structures.
• Experience working with large-scale, multi-source datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using pure Python.
  
• Work extensively with NoSQL and MongoDB to support dynamic and complex data storage needs.
  
• Unify and cleanse data received from multiple sources—even when referring to the same dataset—to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient, high-impact solutions.
