Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Quality Engineer specializing in Automation - either Playwright or Selenium.

Immerse yourself in the heart of cutting-edge features, taking on the exciting challenge of not only testing new developments but orchestrating a symphony of automation to ensure a seamless app release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft detailed test cases, ensuring precision in the mechanics of each feature.
  • Execute regression testing with expertise and finesse.
  • Scrutinize new features to align with user stories, promptly alerting the product team to any anomalies.
  • Lead the automation process, conducting the orchestra of test cases with a focus on precision.
  • Take the lead in post-release testing, always prepared for any additional performances or optimizations.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and collaborate seamlessly with developers and the product team.
  • Harmonize solutions with the team to ensure a smooth and flawless user experience.
  • Engage with the tech team as a skilled conductor, articulating insights and actively listening to diverse perspectives.
  • Strive for compromise, minimizing the need for managerial intervention.
  • Provide guidance and training on the automation process, sharing expertise to elevate the team's capabilities.
  • Mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications
  • Fluent in English
  • 3+ years of professional quality engineering experience with a focus on automation testing
  • Experience with Playwright framework or Selenium
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in testing web-based applications, utilizing browser developer tools, and conducting cross-browser testing
  • Familiarity with issue tracking software like Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Hands-on experience in testing software, creating test cases, and using test case management software
  • Experience with Playwright framework
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (TypeScript)
  • Experience with version control systems (git)
