Job description

Data Analyst

Location: Remote
Team: Operations
Reports To: Senior Director of Data & Reporting
Type: Full-time

Drips revolutionizes customer engagement with its Conversations as a Service (CaaS), delivering scalable, authentic, and data-driven dialogues. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role at the intersection of data, insight, and visualization. This is an ideal role for someone who loves turning complex data into clear, actionable dashboards and who wants to grow their data analytics skillset over time.

What You’ll Do

As a Data Analyst, you’ll spend most of your time designing, building, and iterating on Tableau dashboards that help our teams make better decisions, faster. You’ll be required to gather requirements from stakeholders and perform UAT to ensure dashboards are accurate. Additionally, you’ll explore data sources using SQL.

While you won’t be responsible for building complex pipelines, you’ll need to be comfortable communicating pipeline requirements to Data Engineering and IT teams—making sure the right data is available and modeled appropriately for reporting. Throughout, you’ll work alongside fellow Data Analysts and Analytics Engineers to help the team deliver accurate insights to our stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design and Deliver Tableau Dashboards:
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, create wireframes, and deliver high-impact dashboards that meet business needs.

Write and Maintain SQL for Reporting:
Review and optimize the SQL queries that source, clean, and transform the data used in dashboards and ad hoc analyses.

Communicate Data Requirements:
Translate business questions into clear data needs, and work with Data Engineering and IT to ensure pipelines and models align with reporting goals. You will be expected to communicate easily through verbal and written methods.

Support Data Quality and Governance:
QA your work, document key metrics and logic, and contribute to a culture of transparency, consistency, and reliability in reporting.

Learn and Grow:
Develop your technical and business skills alongside senior team members, contributing to projects that grow your data analytics experience.

Who You Are

You’re comfortable working with SQL and Tableau, and you enjoy turning data into clear visual stories. You have an eye for detail and know that accurate, timely data is critical for decision-making. You’re not afraid to ask questions, collaborate across teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. If you’ve ever helped shape how data gets into a dashboard—or want to grow that skill—this is the role for you.

Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or entry-level Data Analyst role.
  • Proficiency with Tableau (or similar BI tools) and a solid grasp of SQL for querying and transforming data.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate clearly with technical requirements.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment with evolving business needs.
Cover Letter Requirement

To be considered for this position, please include a cover letter (250 words or less) that addresses the following:

  • Which Drips Core Value (available on our website at Drips — Who We Are) resonates most with you, and why.
