Account Executive – New Business Sales (Remote) - Questex

Questex is seeking an Account Executive – New Business Sales to join our Wellness Group, home to the industry’s top events and publications: IECSC (NY, Las Vegas, Palm Beach), IBS (NY, Las Vegas), American Salon, and American Spa.

This is a hunter-style sales role focused on net new business. You will identify, prospect, pitch, and close new clients across the beauty, spa, and wellness space—driving growth across events, digital media, and marketing solutions.

As our Account Executive – New Business Sales you’ll support Questex’s success by:

  • Proactively research, prospect, and generate leads in the B2B wellness, beauty, and spa markets

  • Conduct high-volume outreach and build relationships with prospective clients via phone, email, video, and in-person at industry events

  • Qualify leads, develop proposals, and close deals across digital, events, and integrated marketing platforms

  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in Salesforce—communicating daily activity and forecasting accurately month to month and quarter to quarter

  • Attend and sell at 6–8 flagship trade shows (NYC, Las Vegas, Palm Beach) annually

  • Partner cross-functionally with a New Business Sales Support Executive for smooth transitions to customer support teams

Your Experience & Education Include

  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in events, media, or marketing services

  • Proven track record of prospecting, closing, and exceeding sales quotas

  • Experience with Salesforce is a must. Familiarity with Gong and Microsoft Business Suite is preferred

  • Highly organized with excellent pipeline hygiene and forecasting discipline

  • Strong communication skills—comfortable presenting to decision-makers and negotiating deals

  • Resilient, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Benefits

The expected salary for this position ranges from $115K - $130K, base plus commission. Commissions aren’t capped so earning potential is higher. Salary offers are based on a broad scope of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, geographic and organizational factors are also considered. The following benefits are available:
