  • A good understanding of web-based or desktop Client Server architectures
  • Solid technical grounding with the ability to read and interpret code
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time and priorities
  • A collaborative approach and comfort working in distributed or hybrid teams
  • A degree in a technology or computer science discipline

Desirable skills and technologies:

If you have experience with some of the technologies below, even better — but if you don’t, we’ll support your development:

  • Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
  • C#, AngularJS, XML
  • JavaScript (ES6), HTML, CSS
  • REST APIs and JSON
  • MongoDB
  • Version control tools such as Git

  • ITIL qualification
  • Knowledge of financial services software

Don't meet every single requirement? That's okay, and you aren't alone! Research shows that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for a role unless they meet all the criteria. At SBS, we're committed to building a diverse, inclusive team where everyone feels they belong. So if this role excites you and you're eager to grow, we'd love to hear from you - even if your experience doesn't tick every box just yet, send in your application!
