Job Description:

At Phreesia, we digitize and simplify every step of the patient-check-in journey for thousands of healthcare organizations. As a Sr. SDET / Tech Lead, SDET, you’ll make sure the software behind that experience is rock-solid. Working in agile squads, you will advocate for test automation that mirrors real-world patient workflows, helping us deliver high-quality releases at scale while improving the way care is delivered every day. While this will remain an individual contributor role, we need someone senior enough to act as a firstline mentor for other SDETs and to drive quality conversations with crossfunctional stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

  • Participate in in the full range of testing activities in Agile sprints - story grooming, test design, execution and coach teammates on best practices.
  • Collaborate with QA Leads, Product Managers, Developers and Architects to define effective test scenarios.
  • Perform endtoend testing with a primary focus on automation (API + UI) while executing targeted manual tests when needed.
  • Document / report on / review / prioritize bug reports and other test results.
  • Mentor junior SDETs, providing technical guidance and answering business or technical questions as the first point of contact within QA.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5 + years in software quality with significant automation focus on SaaS APIs and services.
  • 2 + years of UI automation using Selenium with C# or Java and frameworks like NUnit/TestNG.
  • Hands-on experience with Postman or similar tools for API debugging.
  • Familiarity with SQL/ODBC queries for data validation.
  • Practical knowledge of Git-based source control and automated build pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex scenarios and a collaborative spirit—you communicate clearly across functions and time zones.
  • Curiosity to learn new technologies and continuously improve test effectiveness.

Shift Timing: 1:30 pm IST – 10:30 pm IST

Weekly Rejuvenation Breaks: 5 Days Working, 2 Days Week offs – Saturday and Sunday
