Base Pay Range:

$73,000 - $85,000

As a Pricing Strategy Analyst, your essential job functions will include the following:

Pricing Analytics/Strategy

  • Analyze large datasets to uncover pricing opportunities and trends using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI
  • Design, implement, and monitor pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Conduct profitability and margin analyses to evaluate product and service performance
  • Assess market conditions to provide actionable insights
  • Continuously optimize pricing processes through automation and innovative approaches
  • Work with predictive models to forecast pricing outcomes and customer behavior
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to communicate pricing insights to stakeholders
  • Provide data-driven insight—draw valid conclusions and make strategic recommendations
  • Communicate findings through clear, visual presentations that can be easily consumed by team members and executives, making complex analyses understandable to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Provide trustworthy guidance, fact-checking and advice for colleagues and project sponsors
  • Share knowledge and support colleagues to foster a collaborative learning environment, contributing as an integral member of the team
  • Cross functional collaboration with Program Management, Sales, Supplier Relations, and Inventory Management, and Finance teams to align pricing decisions with broader business strategies

Manage Datasets

  • Dive into data—utilize programming tools to cleanse, validate, and ensure the quality of structured and unstructured data sets
  • Apply transformation techniques (e.g., missing data, standardizing formats, detecting outliers, duplicate data) to move data from its raw form into clean, high-quality data tables
  • Use SQL and data APIs to interact with data stored in various systems from relational databases to file systems
  • Collect and curate data needed for research, from both internal and external sources
  • Collaborate with Data Scientist and Data Solutions team members to achieve data-related goals.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Statistics or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience of experience in analytics, pricing, financial analysis or other related business field.
  • Strong proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with Groovy programming language
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
  • Familiarity with pricing theories and concepts, including elasticity and market segmentation.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, pricing strategies, or financial modeling
  • Exceptional communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The total compensation package may also include commission, bonus or profit sharing.
