Job Description
The Account Executive is responsible for proactive outbound prospecting and nurturing potential leads to develop the opportunity achieve sales and revenue goals. Account executives are driven and competitive individuals who focus on generating and closing new business opportunities with small to large business owners in the Hospitality, Residential, and Short-term rental Industry. We are looking for hardworking people who possess a comprehensive understanding of at least one of these markets: enterprise software, digital e-commerce marketing, ancillary services (payments, background checks, utilities). Successful candidates must have a strong, self-motivated work ethic and the drive to not only meet but exceed sales targets.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Delivers quotes to new clients
- Engages with new clients by phone and email
- Grows company by closing new leads that come in each month
- Re-engages older clients that may no longer work with Inhabit
- Engages with software provider account managers so they continue to send us new leads
- Performs online demos for new potential clients
- Marketing skills via new mediums like LinkedIN, Facebook or Instagram
- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Logs and tracks all activity on CRM software
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales preferably in the property management or vacation rental industry
- Excellent communication skills including fundamental presentation skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly and appropriately to influence others
- Technologically savvy with the ability to give online demos and showcase the Inhabit platform
- Proven track record of sales achievement with an aggressive drive to achieve high targets; results oriented.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making
- Accountability and commitment to excellence
- Energetic phone presence and excellent active listening skills
- Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to influence external/internal stakeholders
- Future-forward thinker who is comfortable bridging the gap between traditional property management mindsets and the future of their business

- Ability to travel is required
- Requires Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) skills
