Job Description

Fragomen, the leading global business immigration services firm, is searching for a Human Resources Manager for our Mexico City, Mexico location. This position will provide lead Human Resources support for legal teams in Mexico City and throughout the region, as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all facets of day-to-day Human Resources support in the Mexico City Office
  • Serve as a knowledgeable HR advisor to local partners and managers in addressing employee relations matters
  • Support the development and implementation of the Firms' HR initiatives, tools and systems
  • Provide counseling on policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with HR functional areas to ensure delivery of Talent Acquisition support, Talent Management program delivery and Total Rewards initiatives.
  • Manage performance review and the annual merit increase processes for employees in the areas of responsibility.
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by managing the hiring process
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans
  • Develop training and development programs Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure we are competitive and per market Facilitate the identification of training needs as well as the delivery and tracking of job- specific and supervisor training leveraging the Talent Management team as appropriate.
  • Assess morale level, collect feedback and assist in maintaining a positive working environment


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
  • Knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of disciplinary procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience using Workday or another HR systems a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • Fluent in English
