The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.
Your new responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of Web and Liferay applications.
- Translate functional requirements into technical requirements
- Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable code with best practices
- Performing technical root cause analysis and outline corrective action for given problems.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment of cross-functional and cross-vendor teams, and deliver to aggressive timelines. Documenting and demonstrating solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Perform implementation of cases under mentoring and guidance of more experienced developers
What we look for
- Masters / Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent. Minimum 4 years experience on Web development
- Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle
- Ability to manage, monitor and enhance GitLab, SVN and Azure DevOps platforms
- Preferred technologies and system knowledge: Docker / Container, Kubernetes, Oracle / Postgres, IIS/Apache / Nginx, REST, SOAP, Microservices, CMS (Liferay DXP 7), Azure B2C, Digital Asset Management (DAM)
- Preferred programming languages: Java, JavaScript / Angular JS / React JS / Vue, .Net / .Net Core, PHP, GoLang
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) concepts in Jenkins, Azure Devops
