Security Officer – Middlesbrough
Vistech Services are seeking a permanent Gatehouse Security
TWO DAYS, TWO NIGHTS, FOUR OFF ! INCLUDING WEEKEND WORK! Would need to be flexible to cover all shifts when required due to business need. Covering annual leave and sickness of colleagues. Please note you are required to provide cover near Staithes occasionally, driving licence and vehicle usage is essential.
Pay rate £12.50 per hour.
Contracted to 42 hours
Key responsibilities:
-Assisting with duties inside a busy gatehouse
-Work fantastically as part of a team
-Be flexible with working hours to cover any shifts that are required to be covered
-Be vigilant, always, to ensure security and protection of the Customer’s site
-Carry out patrols of site within specified periods
-Deal with any incidents in a timely and professional manner
-Report any incidents that occur clearly and in a timely manner
What we need from you:
– Confident in dealing with incidents, in a calm manner, following procedures in place
– Good verbal and written communication skills
– Follow assignment instructions to ensure protection of site.
Person Specification:
Must have an SIA Licence
Driver with their own vehicle due to location (preferably in local area)
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice
Weighbridge experience advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
IT Literate
Employment details:
Usual shift pattern would be 12 hr shifts working 4 on 4 off on a rolling rota
Working shift patterns when required to cover any unallocated shifts including weekends
Overtime will be available for sickness / holiday cover
P.T.S Certification provided by employer
Regular drug tests are undertaken, one must be passed prior to employment
Licences/certifications:
First Aid Certification (preferred)
SIA Licence (required)
Full UK Driving Licence
Pay: £12.50 an hour
Experience: 1 year (preferred)
