Job description

This is a remote position.

A boutique consulting firm is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Support & Sales Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting both recruitment and sales processes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across candidate sourcing, client communication, and general administration.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support
  • Screen and shortlist candidate CVs in line with client briefs

  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with the recruiter, candidates, and clients

  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and pre-screening when required

  • Support recruiters with the preparation of candidate packs and feedback collation

Sales & Client Support
  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks related to proposals, presentations, and follow-ups

  • Help track leads, update CRM tools, and maintain accurate client records

  • Draft and send client correspondence and meeting notes

  • Support the preparation of contracts, quotes, and onboarding documents

  • Help coordinate sales campaigns, client check-ins, and events

General Administration
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including diary management, inbox monitoring, and meeting coordination
  • Create reports and assist with data entry for recruitment and sales metrics
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with compliance standards


Requirements
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a similar recruitment coordination, admin, or sales support role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal English
  • Comfortable working with technology (e.g. Microsoft Office, CRMs, ATS systems)
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • A team player with a can-do attitude
  • Experience in a recruitment agency or sales-driven environment is advantageous
  • Working Hours: Eastern Time (EST, UTC-5): 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM SAST or Central Time (CST, UTC-6): 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM SAST
  • Reliable fibre internet, laptop, and headset
