Job description

Are you ready to build your career in a work culture that empowers you to achieve more? Prepared to push boundaries and achieve success working alongside a distributed team? If so, you might be the new colleague we’re looking for at Hempel!

This is your opportunity to join a leading global company and play a key role in the implementation and adoption of our new Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

We are seeking our new Global Production Maintenance Manager eager to lead the global design, deployment, and continuous improvement of a standardized CMMS across our manufacturing sites.

You'll collaborate closely with skilled colleagues and partners, ensuring alignment with global processes and compliance with relevant regulations, while reporting directly to the Head of Operational Excellence T&O in Polinyà, Spain. However, we are open to considering applications from candidates based in any country where Hempel has a legal entity.

Do You Dream of Working in a Culture of Inclusion, Transparency, and Support? These are some of your key tasks:

  • Coordinate all elements of the global CMMS platform implementation and management, ensuring accurate setup, training, standard operating procedures, critical metrics, and performance evaluations across all locations.
  • Establish site maturity assessments and roadmaps for Professional and Autonomous Maintenance.
  • Analyze maintenance cost performance across sites, identify root causes for variation, and define actions to close gaps.
  • Lead global forums or communities of practice for Maintenance Leaders across sites.

What does it take to become our new team member?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Validated experience in implementing or running CMMS platforms, with a strong understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
  • Experience in corporate or multi-site leadership roles is highly desirable
  • Proficient in cost analysis, benchmarking, and driving performance improvements
  • Strong project management and mentoring capabilities
  • Outstanding proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and optimally across diverse cultural and professional contexts.

You lead with influence rather than authority— You are someone who can inspire and align others through trust, clarity, and conviction. You thrive with making data-driven, cost-conscious decisions and are motivated by leading change, even in the face of resistance.

Your resilience helps you navigate ambiguity, while your collaborative spirit enables you to work seamlessly across cultures and functions. You’re passionate about continuous improvement and have a talent for simplifying and standardizing complex processes to build lasting impact. If this sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.

Does it sound like a match to you?

To apply for this position, please submit your application letter with a CV in English via our recruitment system by clicking the link ‘Apply for position’ at the top-right corner.
