Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Chicago, IL time)

Includes a 1-hour unpaid break

Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Responsibilities

Develop scope of work documents for projects in the bidding phase
Conduct cost analysis of materials and labor in a clear and organized format
Estimate projects that may involve machinery, components, or construction
Communicate with known vendors to obtain material and component pricing
Collaborate with the team to determine project timelines
Create and maintain standardized costing and pricing tools for use in bidding

Requirements

High level of competency in a related technical field
Ability to understand project drawings and technical specifications
Collaborate effectively with design and sales teams to break down project tasks and estimate costs
Excellent written English communication skills
