Job Role: Digital Marketing Operations Assistant

Work Schedule: TBD
Salary range: 1500 - 2000 AUD

Who The Client Is: Leading web design, development, and Digital Marketing Company in Melbourne. They create digital campaigns, build beautiful custom websites with the purpose of driving more revenue for their clients.

Role Overview: The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in managing client relationships, coordinating projects, and driving the execution of creative marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills, a passion for content creation, and the ability to deliver impactful outcomes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily

  • Plan, execute, and optimise digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) to drive client success.
  • Monitor performance metrics (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROI) and provide actionable insights for continuous optimisation.
  • Track campaign progress across departments and provide daily status updates.
  • Manage campaign timelines and ensure team members meet deadlines.
  • Liaise with design, content, social, and web teams to collect campaign assets and updates.
  • Flag potential issues or delays and proactively suggest solutions.
  • Maintain updated files, folders, and campaign documents in shared systems and project management software.
  • Update existing client websites with landing pages, content loading, blog updates, and database exporting (predominantly WordPress).
  • Monitor and schedule social media content across multiple accounts.
  • Build and schedule eDMs within clients' mail systems (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Log client requests, approvals, and changes in CRM/project management systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a marketing, digital, or agency setting.
  • Digital Advertising - set up, optimisation and analysis (Meta, Google, MS) - Advanced
  • Google Workspace & Microsoft Office Intermediate–Advanced
  • CRM/Project Management Tools - Intermediate
