Assistant Bookkeeper

Join a remote-first finance team at a U.S.-based nursing home owner-operator. We're looking for a tech-savvy, proactive bookkeeper to support critical reconciliation and month-end close operations — all from your home office. If you're detail-oriented, passionate about finance, and thrive in an accuracy-driven environment, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:
  • Prepare and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations with accurate supporting documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items in coordination with the U.S. accounting team.
  • Support monthly and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account analysis.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and audit schedules.
  • Participate in process improvements to boost reconciliation efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Who You'll Work With:

Be part of a close-knit international accounting team. You'll collaborate daily with U.S.-based finance professionals to deliver reliable, timely financial insights — especially in healthcare operations.

Who We're Looking For:
  • Highly Experienced: 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, with solid general ledger and reconciliation work.
  • Technically Skilled: Comfortable using Excel’s advanced features like pivot tables, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, and dynamic array formulas.
  • Detail-Oriented: Able to investigate and clear discrepancies with precision and care.
  • Great Communicator: Strong written and verbal English communication skills to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
  • Experience: Experience in U.S. nursing home or healthcare accounting is a plus, but not necessary.
Why Join Us?
  • Impact: Help ensure clean, audit-ready financials that support healthcare operations and compliance across the U.S.
  • Culture: Join a professional, tight-knit team that prizes clear communication, mutual accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Benefits:
    • Enjoy preset salary growth and weekly salary payments.
    • 100% work-from-home flexibility.
