We are seeking a Software Engineer – Java, Cloud, Data Engineering to join one of the world’s leading financial institutions in Plano, TX. In this role, you will design and develop enterprise-grade applications, build scalable microservices, and work with modern data platforms and cloud technologies like AWS, Kafka, Spark, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, and REST APIs
• Build microservices architecture and deploy using Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, and Jenkins
• Implement front-end components with React, Angular, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
• Work with large-scale data platforms using Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, and Zookeeper
• Create and manage databases using Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra
• Perform data integration and scripting using Python, SQL, Shell scripts
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms, especially AWS (EC2, S3, MSK, EventBridge)
• Implement observability and monitoring using Splunk, Dynatrace, and Kibana
• Ensure software quality with JUnit, Cucumber, Karate, and JMeter
• Collaborate in Agile squads, contribute to technical design, and participate in code reviews

Required
MSc with 3+ years OR BSc with 5+ years of relevant experience

• Testing tools: JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, JMeter
• Monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Kibana, Splunk
