Job Description

We’re seeking a Finance Business Partner with strong accounting expertise to support financial operations, reporting, and business decision-making. This role ensures accurate, compliant financial data and effective cross-team collaboration. 

The ideal candidate has solid experience with Romanian accounting (RAS), IFRS, and financial consolidation. They combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to partnering with business stakeholders. Comfortable working with complex financial data, they ensure compliance and deliver clear, actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Deliver Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate financial reporting, strong compliance with accounting standards, and effective support for audits and strategic planning. 

  • Manage Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis: Manage budgeting cycles and provide analysis to optimize performance and guide strategy. 

  • Oversee Consolidation: Lead group consolidations with reliable reporting for management and regulatory needs. 

  • Drive Process & Controls: Implement process improvements while ensuring strong internal controls and compliance for accounting and reporting. 

  • Collaborating on Stakeholder Engagement: Work cross-functionally to provide financial guidance and support strategic decisions. 

Qualifications

Must have: 

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial controlling, or financial audit. 

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification strongly preferred. 

  • Solid knowledge of Romanian accounting standards (RAS) and IFRS. 

  • Experience with group consolidation is a big plus. 

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Navision) and advanced proficiency in Excel. 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities. 

  • Fluent in English. 

Nice to have: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance. 

  • Additional certifications such as ACCA or CFA. 

  • Auditing experience, ideally with a Big Four or other top-tier firm.
