Boutique Personal Injury law firm is seeking a skilled and results-driven Litigation Attorney with a focus on
personal injury law to join our growing California-based legal team. This role is ideal for
a self-motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to
independently manage a full caseload involving motor vehicle accidents, premises
liability, product liability, and catastrophic injury matters. The position offers
substantial autonomy, flexibility, and support—along with the opportunity to grow within
a collaborative team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage a full caseload of personal injury litigation and pre-litigation matters from
intake through trial or resolution
Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlement documents
Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
Develop litigation strategies tailored to each client’s goals
Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing
counsel
Supervise or collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and support staff
Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for injured clients
Maintain accurate records in our case management system
Ensure timely compliance with all court rules, deadlines, and procedural
requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
3–5+ years of personal injury litigation experience
Trial preparation experience required; first- or second-chair trial experience
strongly preferred
Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of California tort law and the Code of Civil Procedure
Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet critical deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with case management software (e.g., PracticePanther, CASEpeer)
Bilingual (Spanish or other language)
Completion of Trial Academy or similar litigation training
