Job description

This is a remote position.

Boutique Personal Injury law firm is seeking a skilled and results-driven Litigation Attorney with a focus on
personal injury law to join our growing California-based legal team. This role is ideal for
a self-motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to
independently manage a full caseload involving motor vehicle accidents, premises
liability, product liability, and catastrophic injury matters. The position offers
substantial autonomy, flexibility, and support—along with the opportunity to grow within
a collaborative team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Manage a full caseload of personal injury litigation and pre-litigation matters from
intake through trial or resolution
 Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlement documents
 Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
 Develop litigation strategies tailored to each client’s goals
 Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing
counsel
 Supervise or collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and support staff
 Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for injured clients
 Maintain accurate records in our case management system
 Ensure timely compliance with all court rules, deadlines, and procedural
requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 J.D. from an accredited law school
 Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
 3–5+ years of personal injury litigation experience
 Trial preparation experience required; first- or second-chair trial experience
strongly preferred
 Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
 In-depth knowledge of California tort law and the Code of Civil Procedure
 Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet critical deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 Experience with case management software (e.g., PracticePanther, CASEpeer)
 Bilingual (Spanish or other language)

 Completion of Trial Academy or similar litigation training
