Job Description

At Gcore, we're extending our public cloud offerings with a robust Platform-as-a-Service portfolio. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of our container orchestration, container registry, and managed database services—from ideation through launch and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize the PaaS roadmap for Managed Kubernetes, Managed Registry, and Managed PostgreSQL based on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
  • Set clear OKRs and KPIs (e.g., time-to-deploy, SLA compliance, adoption rates, throughput).
  • Run customer interviews, surveys, and usability studies to uncover pain points in container orchestration, image management, and database operations.
  • Translate insights into actionable feature specifications and user journeys.
  • Partner with R&D to scope features, validate technical feasibility, and accelerate delivery using agile methodologies.
  • Work closely with DevOps, QA, and Support to ensure seamless service onboarding, upgrades, and incident resolution.
  • Develop internal and external documentation, including how-to guides, best-practice whitepapers, and API references.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on positioning, messaging, pricing strategies, and launch campaigns.
  • Train Sales and Solutions Architects on use cases, demos, and competitive differentiators.
  • Monitor service health, SLAs, and performance metrics; drive initiatives to enhance scalability, high availability, and self-healing capabilities.
  • Engage in capacity planning, incident retrospectives, and post-mortems to continuously improve platform resilience.
  • Assist in key sales engagements, proof-of-concepts, and RFP responses.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally—own feature request triage and roadmap transparency.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or solution architecture, with at least 2–3 years focused on platform services (PaaS) or databases.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture (ClusterAPI), container lifecycle management, Docker registries, and PostgreSQL internals (replication, backups, tuning). GPU experience will be a big plus.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling cloud platform features, ideally in a public-cloud or managed services environment.
  • Strong analytical skills—comfortable defining metrics, analyzing usage data, and driving data-informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with experience producing technical documentation and delivering presentations to both technical and business audiences.
  • Hands-on mindset: able to follow deployment flows, validate user experiences, and diagnose platform issues.
  • Customer-centric orientation, with the ability to empathize with developers and operations teams, translating needs into compelling product visions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
