About the Role

We're looking for a Regional Social Media Lead to spearhead our social media strategy across Southeast Asia, working on a mix of food and lifestyle brands. This role is for someone who doesn’t just follow trends but leverages them strategically—using social search, social listening, and platform insights to elevate our brands’ presence and performance.

As the go-to expert on social media evolution, platform updates, and regional nuances, you’ll manage a team, build strong client relationships, and ensure our social strategies drive business results.

What You’ll Do

Social Media Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of cutting-edge social media strategies across food and lifestyle brands in Southeast Asia, aligning with overall marketing goals.
  • Stay ahead of platform changes, social trends, and search behaviors, ensuring we’re maximizing every opportunity for visibility and engagement.
  • Guide a team of social media experts, fostering a growth-oriented environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and performance excellence.

Data-Driven Insights & Innovation

  • Transform data into impactful strategies, using insights from social search, platform analytics, and consumer behavior to refine content and engagement tactics.
  • Leverage social listening tools to identify emerging trends, audience sentiments, and content opportunities across different markets.
  • Test and implement new content formats, tools, and platform features to keep brands at the forefront of social media innovation.

Trendspotting & Content Excellence

  • Stay on top of trending topics and viral moments, ensuring brands are part of relevant conversations while maintaining authenticity.
  • Oversee the creation of high-performing, platform-native content, ensuring consistency across brand voice, visuals, and messaging.
  • Encourage creative risk-taking while ensuring content aligns with brand objectives and cultural nuances in each market.

Client & Team Leadership

  • Act as a trusted partner to clients, proactively offering solutions and strategic recommendations that drive their brand’s growth on social media.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing social media team, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand marketing, creative, and media teams, to ensure an integrated approach to digital marketing.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in social media strategy and execution, with a strong track record of success in Southeast Asia.
  • Regional social media management experience is highly preferred—someone who understands the nuances of different SEA markets.
  • A growth mindset, constantly upskilling and staying ahead of platform updates, content trends, and social search behaviors.
  • A data-driven approach, with experience in turning analytics into actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership skills—able to manage a team, inspire creativity, and drive results.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, capable of building strong relationships and presenting insights with clarity.
  • Fluent in English (knowledge of Filipino, Indonesian, or Malay is a plus).

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with influencers, content creators, and social commerce strategies.
  • Knowledge of paid social media campaigns and performance marketing.
  • A portfolio showcasing creative, trend-led social media campaigns that drove tangible brand results.
