Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Program Manager with a strong technical background to help plan, manage, and deliver key initiatives across our 26-person DevOps team. This role will own the end-to-end management of DevOps projects—from greenfield builds to critical maintenance and cloud migrations—ensuring alignment with our strategic priorities and smooth execution across teams.

You will be the bridge between engineering, operations, infrastructure, and leadership—driving delivery excellence, removing blockers, and championing best practices in DevOps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own planning and delivery for a portfolio of DevOps initiatives spanning greenfield development, ongoing maintenance, and large-scale migrations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and product teams to define project scopes, requirements, and priorities.
  • Maintain and manage a clear, prioritized DevOps roadmap aligned with company goals.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives) for DevOps teams where applicable.
  • Track and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps best practices, including CI/CD automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), cloud security, and incident response.
  • Support post-incident reviews and ensure learnings are integrated into processes.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the DevOps organization.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing complex software development or DevOps projects in a cloud-based environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects across greenfield development, maintenance, and migration contexts.
  • Strong technical background (e.g., DevOps engineer, systems engineer, software developer) with the ability to understand and challenge technical decisions.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills for coordinating diverse technical teams and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Nice to Have
  • Experience in SaaS environments with high-availability, high-security requirements.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and modern observability stacks.
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.).
