Job description

Are you passionate about FPGA technology? Do you have a keen interest in crafting digital solutions that drive innovation? We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled FPGA Engineer to join our team.

As an FPGA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and implementing complex digital circuits using Xilinx FPGA devices and development tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Simulating, synthesizing, and implementing FPGA designs
  • Designing digital electronics in hardware description languages (primarily VHDL) according to specifications
  • Debugging and troubleshooting issues related to FPGA design, timing constraints and functional correctness
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of design methodologies and best practices
  • Developing and maintaining tools to optimize software development for FPGAs
  • Recommending and implementing innovative solutions in the field of digital devices, collaborating within an interdisciplinary team
  • Creating technical documentation related to the tasks performed
  • Communicate effectively with both clients and the team to truly represent the company


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong proficiency in hardware description languages (VHDL or Verilog) and FPGA design principles
  • Deep understanding of AMBA with a focus on AXI
  • Hands-on experience with Xilinx Zynq SoCs, including integration of ARM cores with programmable logic
  • Experience with FPGA development tools, preferably Xilinx Vivado and Vitis
  • Familiarity with QuestaSim/ModelSim and the ability to create effective test benches
  • Proficiency in designing and integrating Microcontroller Units (MCUs) such as MicroBlaze and ARM-based SoCs within FPGA designs
  • Ability to analyze and optimize designs for performance, power, and area
  • Understanding of electronics and the ability to translate electronic designs to FPGA implementation
  • Familiarity with military communication standards such as RXY and JIDS-D- desirable
  • Familiarity with high-speed digital design, RF signal processing, or secure/mission-critical systemS- desirable
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Advanced level of English
  • Active Security Clearance- nice to have!
