As an FPGA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and implementing complex digital circuits using Xilinx FPGA devices and development tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Simulating, synthesizing, and implementing FPGA designs
Designing digital electronics in hardware description languages (primarily VHDL) according to specifications
Debugging and troubleshooting issues related to FPGA design, timing constraints and functional correctness
Contributing to the continuous improvement of design methodologies and best practices
Developing and maintaining tools to optimize software development for FPGAs
Recommending and implementing innovative solutions in the field of digital devices, collaborating within an interdisciplinary team
Creating technical documentation related to the tasks performed
Communicate effectively with both clients and the team to truly represent the company
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong proficiency in hardware description languages (VHDL or Verilog) and FPGA design principles
Deep understanding of AMBA with a focus on AXI
Hands-on experience with Xilinx Zynq SoCs, including integration of ARM cores with programmable logic
Experience with FPGA development tools, preferably Xilinx Vivado and Vitis
Familiarity with QuestaSim/ModelSim and the ability to create effective test benches
Proficiency in designing and integrating Microcontroller Units (MCUs) such as MicroBlaze and ARM-based SoCs within FPGA designs
Ability to analyze and optimize designs for performance, power, and area
Understanding of electronics and the ability to translate electronic designs to FPGA implementation
Familiarity with military communication standards such as RXY and JIDS-D- desirable
Familiarity with high-speed digital design, RF signal processing, or secure/mission-critical systemS- desirable
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Advanced level of English
