We’re expanding and currently looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) to join and strengthen our customer team in Getafe, Spain.

As part of this role, you will manage and coordinate aeronautical projects from initial planning through to successful delivery. You will work closely with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to ensure project execution is aligned with quality, timeline, and budget expectations.

You will operate with a high level of ownership and visibility, driving progress across multiple workstreams, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring all activities meet both company and customer standards.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Planning, organizing, and coordinating all project activities to meet agreed deliverables and milestones
  • Developing and managing project budgets, including purchase orders, delivery tracking, and invoicing
  • Analyzing risks, defining contingency plans, and initiating corrective actions as needed
  • Leading internal and customer communication for project-related decisions and updates
  • Managing subcontractors and aligning their deliverables with project goals
  • Defining roles and responsibilities within the team to ensure clear task ownership
  • Centralizing project information to support smooth coordination and issue resolution
  • Identifying project blockers and maintaining clear progress tracking
  • Preparing, moderating, and documenting internal and external project reviews

 

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in the aerospace sector, ideally in airframe design projects

Strong leadership and team coordination skills

Solid understanding of the aircraft lifecycle and related processes

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple workstreams under pressure

Experience working in international matrix organizations

Strong analytical and reporting capabilities

Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)

Proficiency in Excel, MS Project, and general Office tools

Sound financial awareness and experience with project cost tracking

Degree in Engineering or a related field
