Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM AEST

About the Role

Join a fast-paced hospitality marketing team to drive content, reporting, and campaign execution across premium venues in Sydney and Melbourne.

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Marketing Executive to support our in-house marketing team across digital campaigns, venue
activations, reporting, and content management. This is a hands-on role that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset to manage multiple moving parts across 8 hospitality venues in Australia.

As an external team member, you will work closely with the internal marketing team to support all campaigns across multiple channels. Communication and task management will be coordinated via email, mobile and project management tools (e.g., Click Up).

This role is suited to a mid-to-senior level marketing specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment and can confidently manage tasks
independently with minimal supervision.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Organic Social Media Management
Responsibility: Assist in executing social media strategies and content planning across hospitality venues, ensuring timely delivery, alignment with
brand messaging, and active audience engagement.
  • Task: Develop and execute tailored content strategies for each venue.
  • Task: Coordinate with venue content creators to track and manage submissions.
  • Task: Organise and manage content assets, including user-generated material.
  • Task: Schedule and publish posts across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook) using approved tools like Loomly.
  • Task: Monitor post-performance and engagement, suggesting optimisations to boost reach.
  • Task: Manage community interaction, including comments, messages, and tagged content.
  • Task: Work with internal teams to maintain visual and messaging consistency.
  • Task: Assist with monthly reporting on social metrics and content highlights.
EDM Creation & Email Marketing
Responsibility: Design and manage email campaigns to engage target audiences.
  • Task: Create visually appealing EDM (Electronic Direct Mail) templates.
  • Task: Ensure EDM layouts and messaging align with brand tone and promotions.
  • Task: Manage and execute email sends via SevenRooms or similar platforms.
  • Task: Track and report on email performance metrics such as open rates, CTRs, and conversions.

Events & Partnerships
Responsibility: Support logistics and content for venue activations and partner collaborations.
  • Task: Source collateral and assets for venue activations and partner events.
  • Task: Liaise with venue and events teams to assist with logistics and preparation.
  • Task: Coordinate social media posting and report on partner collaboration activities.
  • Task: Help with event wrap-up reports and data collection.
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Responsibility: Contribute to planning venue campaigns and group marketing strategies.
  • Task: Assist in creating monthly and yearly event calendars.
  • Task: Gather data and insights to support wider strategic plans.
Reporting, Data, & Budget Support
Responsibility: Support tracking, reporting, and budget management for campaigns and venues.
  • Task: Extract data from digital platforms (e.g., Meta, Google Ads, EDM tools) for monthly and campaign reports.
  • Task: Populate reporting templates for internal teams and brand partners.
  • Task: Monitor key metrics such as ROI, engagement, and conversions to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Task: Maintain marketing budget trackers, ensuring spending aligns with forecasts.
  • Task: Provide data insights and summaries to inform strategic decisions by the Head of Marketing.
App Management
Responsibility: Handle loyalty and marketing content through customer- facing platforms.
  • Task: Schedule and manage content via LOKE App (loyalty & marketing).
  • Task: Assist with reviewing and reporting user engagement.
  • Task: Support basic maintenance documentation for the Whisky App platform.
Photography & Videography Coordination
Responsibility: Oversee creative production across marketing content.
  • Task: Draft briefs for third-party creators.
  • Task: Source photographers and videographers as needed.
Printing Coordination
Responsibility: Manage the production and delivery of printed materials.
  • Task: Coordinate with external and internal teams for printing needs.
  • Task: Oversee printing schedules and file management for event materials and menus.
Website Updates
Responsibility: Keep campaign-related website content accurate and consistent.
  • Task: Update campaign content, promotions, and offers.
  • Task: Ensure banners, landing pages, and promotional areas are aligned with ongoing campaigns.
  • Task: Upload and format images, graphics, and copy for a professional look.
  • Task: Work with internal teams and web support on updates.
Coordination with In-Venue Teams
Responsibility: Collaborate with venue teams to execute campaigns effectively.
  • Task: Liaise with venue staff to gather photos, videos, and creative assets.
  • Task: Follow up to ensure timely content delivery.
  • Task: Guide visual quality for in-venue teams.
  • Task: Assist with internal marketing training modules.
Media Outreach Assistance
Responsibility: Support media engagement through list management and email outreach.
  • Task: Maintain and update media contact lists.
  • Task: Send updates to media partners and influencers.
  • Task: Track responses and update the internal team.
  • Task: Help coordinate press and media collaborations.

Administrative Support
Responsibility: Provide operational support for the marketing team and venue contacts.
  • Task: Manage daily email requests for marketing support.
  • Task: Coordinate with venue teams regarding logistics, menus, and general communication.

Key Skills & Requirements

Non-negotiables:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, venue/ hospitality marketing, and event coordination.
  • Solid understanding of marketing channels, including social media, email, and app-based platforms.
  • Experience with website CMS – WordPress
  • Experience working with hospitality or lifestyle brands.
  • Confidence in using reporting tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Meta, Google Analytics) and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and well-organised.
  • Strong knowledge of social media strategy, paid advertising, and performance metrics.
  • Experience managing budgets, campaign reports, and digital analytics.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and across different time zones.
  • Full-time availability within AEST hours (10 am–7 pm, Mon–Fri).
