The primary objectives and responsibilities of a Business Development Manager includes:



  • Sales Goals: Achieve annual sales targets for GRC and Ethics & Compliance solutions, with a primary focus on the Integrated EGRC platform, SAI360, targeting enterprise accounts;
  • Consultative Selling: Qualify and engage target accounts using consultative selling methodologies to secure new business;
  • Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process from opportunity identification to negotiation and closure, ensuring quarterly and annual sales goals are met; 
  • Strategic Sales: Conduct research-based sales strategies to identify new opportunities by understanding client pain points;
  • Transition Management: Ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales activities, managing accounts through evaluation, technical review, proposal, and negotiation stages; 
  • Executive Presentations: Deliver compelling business presentations to demonstrate the unique value and strategic benefits of SAI360 within the EGRC space;
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate account and opportunity data in Salesforce.com, including timely updates to the sales pipeline and monthly forecasts;
  • RFI/RFP Responses: Support the timely delivery of responses to requests for information (RFI) and proposals (RFP) for qualified opportunities;
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with presales, product management, services, and customer support teams to ensure effective client implementations and ongoing satisfaction;
  • Industry Representation: Represent SAI360 as a thought leader in the EGRC market, attending industry events and conferences to provide market insights and feedback to leadership;
  • Networking: Actively participate in industry networking events to build credibility and generate referrals for new business opportunities;
  • Travel: Comfortable with traveling (20-30%) to meet clients and occasional office meetings (<5%). 


What you’ll bring to the table:



  • Extensive experience of successful software/services sales experience, with a strong focus on hunting new business within the Asian market;
  • Proven track record in selling multi-year, subscription-based SaaS products, particularly high-value deals ($500K - $1M+), typically on a 6-12 month sales cycle;
  • General understanding of EGRC solutions, business ethics, and corporate standards and regulations is critical to success; 
  • Strong business acumen and comfort in engaging with senior executives (C-Level, directors);
  • Ability to build and leverage strong customer relationships for cross-sell opportunities; 
  • Expertise in sales process management methodologies (e.g., Challenger, Value-based Selling, Miller Heiman);
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple sales activities simultaneously;
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken are required for this role.  
  • Strong independent work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to solve complex problems with a solutions-oriented focus;
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to perform in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team with open, collaborative communication.
