Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2002 OR Master’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2016 OR Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy license or eligibility to apply for licensure is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree OR Doctorate in Physical Therapy
2 years of experience in Physical Therapy
OCS, CSCS, DN Certified
Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy license or eligible to apply for licensure required
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Performs comprehensive examination of patients using appropriate tests/measures, completes the evaluation, and formulates an individualized plan of care.
Provides evidence-based quality patient treatments and monitors patients for physiological status during sessions. Provides individualized patient education
Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and education sessions, and submits accurate charges according to regulatory policies.
Provides education regarding the physical therapy discipline. Serves as a clinical instructor/mentor and provides education to other disciplines within UAMS and/or the community.
Participates in multidisciplinary and department communication, including patient care discussions and/or meetings and unit/department/hospital meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
