Our Compensation team leads the strategy, design, analysis, and communication of eHealth's compensation and rewards programs. As a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst, you will play a critical role in executing our compensation initiatives with a strong focus on incentive calculations and process improvements. You will work closely with our Compensation Analysts and other senior team members to maintain and enhance our compensation tools while ensuring accuracy and compliance in all compensation-related activities. We are looking for someone with exceptional Excel skills and an analytical mindset who can help optimize our compensation processes through automation and improved data management.
What you'll do:
· You will lead the maintenance and enhancement of Excel-based compensation tools, focusing on improving calculation accuracy and efficiency through advanced formulas, macros, and data validation techniques.
· You will collaborate with Compensation Analysts to process and validate compensation calculations, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of payments while maintaining data integrity.
· You will implement and maintain data quality controls by developing Excel-based validation checks, identifying potential issues, and proposing solutions to improve data accuracy.
· You will oversee the execution of compensation programs, including incentive calculations, reporting, and data analysis using advanced Excel functions and analytical tools.
· You will manage standard and ad-hoc compensation requests, developing efficient solutions through Excel automation and process improvements.
· You will ensure confidentiality and compliance with respect to sensitive compensation data and calculations.
· You will document processes and suggest improvements based on your Excel expertise and analytical insights.
· You will mentor and provide guidance to less experienced analysts on best practices and process improvements.
Who you are:
· You must have a bachelor’s degree.
· You have very strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data validation techniques.
· You demonstrate analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
· You have experience with large datasets and complex calculations.
Preferred Qualifications:
· You have Advanced Excel skills, including VBA, Power Query, and dashboard creation.
· You have a strong understanding of compensation principles and practices.
· You have experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
· You have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to automate manual processes.
· You have excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
· You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
· You have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
· You are comfortable with learning new systems and adapting to process changes.
· You have prior experience with incentive calculations or payment processing.
· You have working knowledge of Workday or similar HRIS systems.
