The Role:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, the Manager, Marketing Operations will serve as the day-to-day lead for our Promotional Review Committee (PMRC) process, while also supporting the execution of speaker programs, congress planning, and print/fulfillment operations. In addition, this role will oversee the implementation and optimization of key commercial platforms including Veeva PromoMats, the speaker bureau platform and print/fulfilment portal.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management capabilities, operational rigor, and a collaborative mindset. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and evolve a high-impact marketing operations function within a fast-paced oncology organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day coordination of the Promotional Review Committee (PMRC) process in Veeva PromoMats, ensuring timely submission, routing, tracking, and archiving promotional materials across HCP and patient audiences in oncology.
  • Support congress planning efforts by managing timelines, booth asset coordination, internal stakeholder communication, and collaboration with vendors to ensure successful presence at key oncology meetings (e.g., ASCO, ESMO, WCLC).
  • Assist with speaker bureau and HCP consulting program operations, including nomination tracking, contracting workflows, platform support, and alignment with compliance requirements.
  • Manage and optimize marketing operations systems and platforms, including Veeva PromoMats, print and fulfillment portals, speaker bureau platforms, and other digital tools that support the commercial oncology team.
  • Oversee the integration of digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems for seamless data flow, content distribution and performance reporting.
  • Support the implementation and management of content management systems (CMS) and digital asset management (DAM) platforms to ensure organized, compliant and accessible content libraries.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Digital, and Sales teams to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns targeting oncologists, HCPs, and patients.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to measure campaign effectiveness, PMRC turnaround times, field engagement, and ROI.
  • Ensure high-quality customer and engagement data through strong data governance and cleansing practices.
  • Standardize and streamline marketing workflows, approval processes, and asset deployment for efficiency.
  • Ensure all marketing operations comply with regulatory, legal, and corporate policies, particularly in oncology and pharmaceutical marketing.
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships to ensure deliverables align with timelines, budgets and strategic commercial objectives.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Training, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to align marketing execution with broader business goals.
  • Work closely with Finance to manage marketing budgets, spend tracking, and ROI analysis.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Marketing and IT and compliance to enhance data infrastructure and system integrations, particularly in support of speaker bureau management, HCP consulting agreements, congress planning and event management, and the promotional review process in Veeva PromoMats to support commercial launch readiness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing operations, commercial analytics, or sales operations, preferably in oncology, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM platforms (Veeva PromoMats, Salesforce, print/ fulfillment), and digital engagement tools.
  • Hands-on experience with PMRC/MRC workflows and tools (e.g., Veeva PromoMats) preferred.
  • Proven success managing cross-functional projects and working with external vendors.
  • Familiarity with promotional compliance and speaker/HCP program operations
  • Experience in campaign tracking, ROI analysis, and marketing performance measurement.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, pharma promotional guidelines).
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
