About the Role

Abnormal Security is a fast-growing cybersecurity company, and we are looking to grow our People Technology & Analytics team. In this role, you will help shape how work gets done, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and leverage your technical expertise to deliver on meaningful, high impactful projects that will help shape the future of Abnormal. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Workday Configuration & Optimization: Lead configuration efforts for Workday modules, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with business needs. Experience Benefits, Learning, and Prism Analytics preferred.
  • Advanced Reporting & Analytics: Design and deliver complex reports to support cross-functional business insights, leveraging Workday's reporting capabilities and Prism for advanced data analysis. Experience with matrix and composite reports is a plus.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a strategic partner to HR and business leaders, translating their needs into system configurations, reporting solutions, and process improvements.
  • Data Governance & Documentation: Establish and maintain data governance standards, including ownership, security, and quality controls, with comprehensive documentation of processes and system architecture.
  • Process Architecture: Design and maintain scalable HR process infrastructure, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance user experience through automation and best practices.
  • Workday Security Administration: Manage Workday security roles and permissions, ensuring appropriate access controls, compliance, and audit readiness.
What you Will Do
  • Lead functional configuration and optimization in Workday.
  • Design and architect system change management and documentation processes.
  • Help build a strong and high performing team by coaching and mentoring other team members.
  • Guide and influence project teams across People Tech and partner groups, offering thought leadership and operational insight.
  • Help build our Data Governance and Process Infrastructure.
  • Help Develop and Execute the People Technology Roadmap.
  • Leverage best practices to design internal processes and controls to ensure the utmost quality in data security and integrity.
  • Influence and design internal controls and narratives.
  • Provide tier-3 support for complex issues, partnering with vendors as needed to resolve escalations and ensure service quality.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of hands-on Workday experience.
  • Demonstrated success in owning complex systems/projects and delivering impactful outcomes in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong cross-functional influence with the ability to coach and enable others (both within and outside of People Tech).
    Proficient in driving system improvements and identifying root causes of process inefficiencies
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a high level of autonomy, ownership, and business acumen.
  • Workday certifications a plus but not required.
Must Haves
  • Strong Workday Configuration Knowledge (Benefits, Learning and Prism a Plus).
  • Expert understanding of Workday Security.
  • High Level understanding of integration technologies, and data flows.
  • Familiarity with other key HR Technologies such as Greenhouse, Lattice and Pave.

Base salary range:
$140,300$165,000 USD
