Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Virtual Relationship Manager (VRM) to join our dynamic investment sales team. This is a remote sales role that requires an individual with a proven track record in Fixed Deposit (FD) mobilization, investment product sales, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in virtual client handling and capable of driving results over phone, email, and digital communication platforms like WhatsApp.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Portfolio Management:
    Handle a portfolio of retail and HNI clients through digital channels such as phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp. Build lasting client relationships with an advisory mindset.
  • Fixed Deposit (FD) Sales:
    Proactively pitch and sell FD products to both existing and prospective customers. Explain features, interest rates, maturity benefits, and safety to generate client interest and conversions.
  • Investment Product Sales:
    Cross-sell a suite of investment and wealth products including mutual funds, bonds, tax-saving instruments, and insurance solutions.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion:
    Identify new sales opportunities through personal network, referrals, and cold calling. Follow up persistently to close sales and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
  • Sales Target Achievement:
    Meet or exceed assigned targets for FD mobilization and other wealth products. Track performance against KPIs and take necessary steps to improve.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing timely assistance, proactive follow-ups, and tailored product offerings. Maintain regular touchpoints with clients for renewals, top-ups, and cross-selling.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    Adhere to internal and regulatory compliance requirements including KYC, data privacy, and operational risk. Coordinate with backend and operations teams for smooth account opening, processing, and documentation.
  • Data & Call Log Maintenance:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, sales leads, and follow-ups using CRM tools or Excel trackers.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial sales with a strong focus on FD mobilization and investment products.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills over phone and digital channels.
  • Prior experience handling HNI/retail clients virtually is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of investment and wealth products.
  • Goal-oriented with a passion for sales and client success.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools and managing digital workflows.
