The leave management analyst position is responsible for directing the day-to-day administration of leave and time off programs for the US and international locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leave administration and customer service. In this role you will work closely with employees, managers and HR to ensure a smooth leave experience.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Manage all leave and time off programs for all Nordic locations (North America, Europe and Asia) including Workers Comp and workplace accommodations.
  • Coordinate with third party leave administrator, company stakeholders, and with payroll for proper payroll processing.
  • Stay abreast of leave laws and recommend policy changes as applicable.
  • Coordinate and manage direct bill process for employees on leave and consulting population.
  • Vendor management leave administration, COBRA vendor and others as assigned.
  • Manage ACA process and project-based consultant population.
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefit processes.
  • Assist in maintaining employee communications to include the external benefits website, and written communications in relation to the employee handbook and leave policies.
  • Work on projects as necessary to include but not limited to open enrollment, vendor implementations, and acquisitions.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of leave management experience or 6 years without a degree.
  • Experience managing leaves through a third-party administrator.
  • Proven ability to connect with a wide range of audiences and build quick rapport
  • Proven discretion, sound judgement, and strong ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Adaptable and able to embrace the gray with a positive attitude
  • Prior experience with Workday preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
