Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of value analysis projects across the health system ensuring consistency with Member's strategy, commitments and goals.
While maintaining or improving the quality of patient care, leads and manages multidisciplinary project teams to identify and implement substantial supply cost reduction, supply standardization, and supply utilization initiatives.
Reviews and assesses applicable financial, clinical, and operational data, as well as evidence-based literature to assist teams in evaluating new supplies and new technology.Appropriately assists in the selection, evaluation, monitoring, analysis, and implementation of cost-effective products and purchased services in the healthcare system.
Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with clinical, administrative, and healthcare system executives and staff to ensure effective, results-oriented project outcomes.
