Description

The Constangy Coordinator of Cyber Business Development, in collaboration with the Chair and Vice Chairs of the Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Team (the “Cyber Team”), will be responsible for spearheading the growth and expansion of the Cyber Team’s line of services. These include compliance advisory, incident response and cyber defensive litigation services. This will include a focus on driving growth, revenue, and profitability by, among other things, identifying marketing opportunities, planning and executing marketing activities, conducting data analysis to strategically identify opportunities to build business, evaluating the return-on-investment of marketing initiatives, maintaining and establishing robust partnerships to enhance the Cyber Team’s position in the competitive cyber marketplace, and developing substantive value-add content for presentation to key business partners.  


The ideal candidate will possess and apply business development expertise and knowledge of the cyber industry marketplace, including the cyber insurance marketplace involving carrier, broker and vendor ecosystems. The ideal candidate will also, with minimal oversight, be capable of identifying critical issues to be addressed and developing innovative solutions to highly complex problems. Finally, the ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging key stakeholders to support the Cyber Team, including by establishing and maintaining partner relationships while identifying, developing, and closing new growth opportunities.


This position is eligible for remote work. To be considered for this role, applicants must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Pennsylvania, or Virginia.


This position may require travel. An undergraduate degree and seven or more years of directly related experience is required for this role. 


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Seven (7) years of experience in business development, sales, and incident response, with an emphasis on strategy, building external relationships, and growing revenue.
  • Experience working with cyber insurance carriers, brokers, and vendors, as well as with cyber-focused law firms and cyber insurance focused law firms.
  • Experience presenting to, and communicating with, business partners and clients including via substantive briefings and on sales calls, as well as during teams-based discussions.
  • Ability to own and drive the business development process and provide long-term account management to strategic partner accounts.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-based and fast-paced environment and coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead business development initiatives, work with senior leaders to foster positive partner relationships, identify and execute on new business opportunities with new or existing business partners, and develop new intellectual capital and thought leadership.
