Job Description:

Merkury, dentsu's global identity and data platform and a pioneer in person-based identity, is looking for a VP Product Solutions, US to help continue to increase revenue and market growth for our business. You will work in collaboration with dentsu Growth and Client Service leaders and capability experts (tech consulting and strategy, data, customer experience, media) to lead and solution client sales opportunities for Merkury's identity, consumer data, activation and data clean room products.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales, client service or solutions leader to be at the forefront of innovation in the growing identity and data industry. You will partner and collaborate with multiple Merkle and dentsu leaders and partners.

This is a remote position, reporting to VP, Solutions - Merkury.

Responsibilities:

  • You will manage new business opportunities, RFIs/RFPs and existing client upsell opportunities to senior level clients

  • You will qualify client sales opportunities through early-stage discovery and analysis of business goals, mar-tech stacks, identity and data partners, priority use-cases and strategies

  • You will organize, craft and lead teams and Merkury product presentations through the sales process

  • You will consult clients on how Merkury enables and drives business value across use-cases including real-time personalization, CRM, enterprise identity and 1PD management, and customer/prospect targeting across media & mar-tech

  • You will collaborate with sales and business leaders to develop appropriate product and service fees for client use-cases and requirements across opportunities

  • You will ensure contracts and any required data privacy and regulatory steps and standards are managed

Experience and Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in an ad-tech or agency audience/data platform sales, client service or solutions role

  • Experience collaborating with business and sales leads to develop pricing, contracts, and lead client negotiations in C-level sales and client service engagements

  • Proficiency with leading mar-tech/adtech platforms such as DMPs, CDPs, marketing clouds and/or data cloud environments (ex: AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake) as part of sales, partnership or solutioning efforts.

  • Subject matter expertise with identity and data companies and solutions for marketing and media audience targeting, analytics and measurement

  • Experience collaborating with executive client, agency and partner leaders across lines of business involved in complex sales opportunities

  • Ability to simplify complex topics, summarize and translate client situations and opportunities into clear product sales and solution opportunities and presentations

  • Experience organizing and communicating sales opportunity status or collaborating with sales leaders to ensure important information, stage, sizing of potential deals is reported

  • Expertise with executives in pitch situations representing identity resolution, 3rd-party consumer data for analytics and marketing use, mar-tech within an organization's technology stack, and knowledge of current ecosystem and solutions in media (cookieless, identity, data for targeting)

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, analytics or technology. Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $163,000 - $263,350. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
